Walking in the Light of Christ

In life, we all have our own direction, our own abilities, our choices and knowledge to fulfill our lives.  We all have a God-given direction to be a blessing in a congregation filled with people that are on a course through life to gain light and understanding of the knowledge of the Word of God.  As the Word of God brings enlightenment to us we gain knowledge of the Life of our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

”Your word is a lamp that gives light wherever I walk” (Psalm 119:105 CEV).

We are all containers; we are used to be filled to the full.  We are to over-flow that we can share with others and give to them in their areas of need.  Some people need us to give light and life to their being; others need material blessings to flow to them, and still others need knowledge that they may properly use the materials that they have in their lives.  We are clay in the potter’s hand to live a life that is designed by Him to bring light and life to all those that are in our lives.

"Light"

Someone that you come in contact with today may have been called to come across your path to help you or for you to help them.  As we gain knowledge of our Lord and the ways that He lived, let us always remember that if we choose to be like Him and follow His ways we cannot help but get it right.  If we walk in the Light as He is in the Light then darkness will be continually dissipated.

“But if we live in the light, as God does, we share in life with each other.  And the blood of his Son Jesus washes all our sins away” (1 John 1:7 CEV).

"Light"

When true light comes and there is no more darkness, we will all see clearly and know His ways are above man’s ways.  As we walk with Him daily our ways continually become past the natural knowledge of the natural mind.

Remember today that you have available to you--in excess--to meet the need or assist in meeting the need of someone.  We all have our part and together the whole is accomplished.  Be a blessing; share the over-flow with someone you know has need.  God will send someone to you as well, and your need will be continually met.  Faithfulness is developed day by day.

May the Blessings of God flow to and through you today.
