Gifts God Gave

God gave me two eyes

So I could see you,

And He gave me two ears

So I could hear, too;

Then in the middle

He put my mouth in

As a tool for blessings

And sing praises to Him.

At the end of each arm

He hung on a hand;

He told me to use them

To help my fellow man.

He gave me two feet

To carry me around,

And made my knees bend

So I could kneel down.

Jesus put in my heart

A great love for Him;

And said, “Love everybody

For I died for them.”

Now with love in my heart

And “Go” in my feet,

In prayer my knees will bend,

With God’s armor, the devil defeat.

I’ll watch with special insight

And listen with my heart.

I’ll guard my mouth carefully

So words will not be sharp.

My arms can give hugs;

My hands lift a load;

My feet can carry good deeds

To help the downtrodden on the road.

Then when all I can do is pray

And just offer love,

Humbly I’ll bow and listen

As God speaks gently from above.

The wonderful gifts from God

Were not for me, you see;

They were to give to you

As He gave them gave to me.

 Give gifts this year that will be multiplied over and over as they are passed around to others who can use them and pass them on without diminishing them at all.  It is amazing that the more love and compassion we give away, the more we receive.  The more we divide it and hand it out, the more it multiplies.

We celebrate Christmas because God “gave his only begotten son,” and as we give Him to others,  He just keeps duplicating Himself in their lives.

God gave His best; He expects no less from us.  This Christmas, give Him yourself and watch the reciprocal gift expand in your life to fill you with overflowing love and blessings. You will have abundance with plenty to share.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life”

(John 3:16).

“The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:  The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:  The LORD life up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace” (Numbers 6:24-26).

Have a blessed Christmas!
